The answer is in your cupboards. A mixture of equal parts white vinegar and alcohol constitutes the domestic chemical weapon capable of neutralizing the damage caused by bleach. The precise formula: 250 ml of each ingredient in an ordinary container. No expensive products, no sophisticated equipment.

The active principle relies on the ability of white vinegar to rebalance the pH altered by chlorine, while alcohol acts as a solvent to penetrate the textile fibers. This combination creates a gentle chemical reaction that partially reverses the discoloration without further attacking the fabric.
