Bathrobes and post-shave rinsing: the final two habits worth changing
Bathrobes are used so close to a clean body that they can feel permanently fresh — but like towels, they absorb moisture, sweat, and dead skin with every use. Washing a bathrobe once a week, hanging it in a well-ventilated spot to dry fully, and letting it air in sunlight occasionally all help prevent buildup.

Shaving does more than remove hair: it also strips away dead skin cells, deodorant residue, and bacteria from the surface. If the area is not rinsed thoroughly afterward, applying deodorant on top of that residue can cause irritation and an unexpected odor. A careful rinse of the armpit area after shaving, before applying any product, removes that risk entirely.
Most of these habits require no new products and no extra time — just a small adjustment to routines that have not kept pace with how the body changes. Closing the toilet lid, rinsing armpits after shaving, and washing towels and bathrobes on a regular schedule are among the simplest changes with the most direct impact on daily freshness.
