So when he married 44-year-old Meera, a poised former creative director, people were stunned. Her grace, rich conversation, and calm confidence captivated him, and after only two months of dating, he said “yes” to becoming her husband.
“Others chased youth,” Ravi declared at the wedding. “I chose wisdom—and I have zero regrets.”
The wedding night
The bedroom glowed with candlelight. Nervous but excited, Ravi waited on the bed. Meera entered in a long white silk nightgown, smiled faintly, and quietly sat at the edge. No words. No movement. Just silence.
When Ravi gently asked if she wanted to talk first, she nodded slightly but said nothing—then whispered, “I’m tired. Let me sleep,” and turned to the wall.
