A nine-year-old girl who had been missing for six years was found safe in North Carolina after a viewer of the Netflix series Unsolved Mysteries recognized her and alerted authorities. Her mother, Heather Unbehaun, who had been accused of abducting her own daughter in Illinois back in 2017, has since turned herself in and is now held without bail. Kayla Unbehaun has been reunited with her custodial father.
