  • Veggies Galore: Add corn, peas, carrots, or potatoes for extra heartiness.
  • Beans and More: Black beans, kidney beans, or northern beans enhance texture and nutrition.
  • A Kick of Flavor: Spice things up with jalapenos, olives, or green chiles.
  • Toppings That Pop: Avocados, shredded cheese, sour cream, or fresh green onions make it gourmet.

Nailing the Perfect Soup Every Time

  • Parboil potatoes or carrots before adding pasta so they soften evenly.
  • Season lightly at first — simmering will naturally intensify flavors.
  • Planning to freeze? Cook and store pasta separately for the perfect bite later.

Embracing the Leftovers

The only thing better than one bowl is enjoying it again the next day. Properly stored, it reheats beautifully — just cook fresh pasta before serving if frozen.
